Any good Oktoberfest festivals in SE PA?
Being that my Mom's family is from Germany, I'm a natural for loving German food and beer. =)
That being said..I've never been to a festival, so does anyone know of any DECENT ones in SE PA?

Most of the German clubs have them.
One of the best places is VE in Warminster.

UGH or United German Hungarians is another club that has some good Oktoberfest events.

Re: Any good Oktoberfest festivals in SE PA?
VE event was in mid September and I didn't see anything listed for October and...... UGH doesn't have anything listed, either...
Interesting..I'd be willing to drive the 60 miles to it since I hardly ever get to eat German food.
I thought Penn's Landing in Philly had an Oktoberfest event last year.
The only thing I saw for Penn's Landing in October is sippin' beer by the water (maybe that's it?)...
I did find this on a search..anyone ever eat their food?

Cool, The bear creek one isn't far from me. Maybe I'll check it out. I was hoping to go to the Lion Brewery in Wilkes-Barre with friends this year but it doesn't look like will be having it due to renovations.
