    Default My newly aquired K17-3

Just completed a deal with a member from this board for this beauty of a smith, thanks again and I'm really starting to aquire a taste again for these older Smiths, here's a pic of the K17-3 and also a pic of the 36 J frame I picked up 2 weeks ago, BTW both guns were made in 1972-73.

    And the Jframe

is it a .357? I'm not a big fan on revolvers, but it sure does look like it's in great condition and if your happy with it which i'm sure you are. That's all that matters. How does it shoot? have you pushed some bullets through it yet?

It's a 22lr, as for not being a big fan of revolvers myself, your mind will be changed if you check out some of the older smiths. They are truely in a class of their own.

Wow, that K17 looks to be in primo condition. It is one of the finest 22 revolvers ever made IMO. I sold one for a person who had a collection for sale and I kick myself for not buying it for my collection. A non wheel gunner who shoots one of these would soon change their mind as these are so sweet shooting and accurate.
