Bensalem Cops Seek Sneaky Burglar in a Dented Taurus

Bensalem, Pa. police are asking for help from the public as they try to track down a brazen cat burglar who has broken into or attempted to break into at least five homes within a week while the owners were sleeping.

Police say the suspect has broken into three homes on Anaconda Way -- in one house there was a confrontation with the homeowner, who suffered a minor injury before the man fled.

The burglar is described as a light-skinned black male, short, wearing jeans and a dark sweatshirt.

Police believe one homeowner caught a picture of the burglar's car on video (photo above): a greyish-blue, four-door Ford Taurus with dents along the passenger side.

I think he may have tried to hit my neighbors house last night. We live in a duplex, 2 homes in one house, one on top of the other. Someone knocked on the door and ran. About 20 minutes later they tried to open the door, luckily it was locked. Knowing about the recent activity, my neighbor decided to call the cops. They didn't find anyone and we were on the look out for most of the night. Hopefully he comes back.

Rumor has it that he tried to hit again last night accross from the Bensalem High School. Second night in a row for that area.

The police are seeking the help of the public for this one, I'm on it.

There was a guy behind my neighbor's house a few minutes ago, when attention was brough to him he ran away. Might be him, might be his partner, might not be. Either way, I hope it stops soon.

LULZ. I'm not sure really. I don't expect him to park the car in front of the homes he's entering anymore, knowing that the people may be looking for the car.
