    Default LTCF stand alone, right?

LTCF stands alone, right? What I mean to say is that since there is a picture included on it for positive identification then there should be no need to have a driver's license available. Am I right?

Also, some have told me here that it is not expressly a "concealed carry" permit but that is exactly what it allows? Am I just confused with semantics here?

LTCF is valid state issued ID.
Whether folks will accept it as such is another matter.

    As for "CC" question.

    An LTCF allows you to
    1) CC outside your abode or fixed place of biz (IE: public) Statewide minus the prohibited places. (Ref: 18Pa.C.S.§6106)
    2) carry a firearm (OC or CC) during a Pa. declared state of emergency. (Ref: 18Pa.C.S.§6107)
    3) Carry OC or CC in a vehicle (Ref: 18Pa.C.S.§6106)
    4) Carry OC on public streets of Philadelphia. (Ref: 18Pa.C.S.§6108)
    5) Allows a person to loan you a handgun (Ref: 18Pa.C.S.§6115)
    6) Exempts you from the prohibition of carrying in State Parks (CC only though)
    7) Exempts one from the fed gun free school zone act provided the school is in the same state as the license holder.

As you can see, it covers things other than CC.

What about within 1000' of a Gun Free School Zone, and CC in a state park?

Excellent repsonse. Thanks. (now I'm thinking, why didn't I know that?)

No worries. I was pretty sure I was correct, but I didn't have any citations handy.

Although...some counties still do not put your photo on the license
