Starting a online competition
I discovered that my cousin-in-law in Seattle shoots when he posted pics of his trip to the range on Facebook. I thought I would challenge him to an online competition to get myself into a training routine.
I have no idea on how to implement this. First, I suppose we would need the same type of target. Second, we would need a standard scoring method. Ideally these would be online and not succeptible to interpretation.
I imagine we'll start with accuracy, but I would like to include time and movement in some way.
All suggestions welcome.

Re: Starting a online competition
that sounds like a good idea. Eveyone can download the same printable target and post a pic. Or like you said come up with a scoring system. But you know some people will cheat. Anyway it would be a cool way to compete with people who dont live near you.

use a standard IDPA or USPSA silohette target and use a standardized stage. everyone can run the same stage and post their times and hit's, preferably with a video.

You'll need a timer, though.

This competition is for sniper types, but I am certain you could modify these rules to suit your needs...
I would be interested in something like this as well. When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.
