Default Odd question for Philly people

This is a really odd question, but I dont know where else to ask.

Last year, I was a friends place, and their friends brought these Danishes from a bakery in Philly. I didn't ask where they got them though, I just knew they were really good. They were round, really soft which was great, and just had the icing on top in the middle.

After that another people brought the same kind from some bakery in philly, and again I didn't ask.

Does anyone know where I can get these? Walmart, Giant, wherever else, don't sell these kind, and its kind of annoying as nothing comes close to what I had before.

    They are like this:

Well the one on the left is exactly like I had. I can't find these kind anywhere around here.

My local bakery - across the street - makes them. Yes, they are called Danish pastries.

You likely won't find them in any grocery store, as most high volume grocery stores don't really do 'good' baked goods. You need to find a small local bakery.

I live in southern lancaster co, I'll keep my eye peeled for ya..

I live in the Overbrook section of the city. But any local bakery should have them. I bet the Reading Market in center city Philly will have them.

I would steer you directly to my local bakery, but their pastries are hit-or-miss in quality control.

Yeah, as said above, pretty much any local bakery should have them, especially in the downtown area. LOTS of great food there.

Closer to home, you could try Country Maid in downtown Bowmansville, they make awesome pastry's and breads. I don't know if they make Danish per say, but their French Crullers are awesome.
