    Reading old issue of Gun World,June 09. Inside cover page is an ad for LifeLiner, some type of barrel life extender, any one heard of this is it worth anything etc?

    If I remember correctly, the only time I've heard of something like this is when a gunsmith was re-chambering a barrel to a small caliber.

    I think the OP is referring to the Otis system for smoothing the rifling in a barrel. Different projectiles to smooth out any microscopic burrs and machine marks - or maybe it's a coating, I forget which. Have no experience with whether this works or not. Maybe snake oil. If I had a gun that shot well, I sure wouldn't try to fix something that's not broken.
