    Default Change of address?

Bought a house a week ago. What is the deal with change of address for a CC permit in Westmoreland county?

It may be different in your county, but I recently went through the same thing in Cumberland County. I went to the Sherriff's office and gave them my new address. The woman at the counter told me all they need to do is update their database; I don't need a new card. If LE should happen to run a check, the new address will come up.

It may be different there, but in Huntingdon county when I moved 2 years ago I called the sheriff's office and she said not to worry about it until I got my renewal - they would update it then.
I figured there had to be something else, so I asked again to be sure and she verified it again - nothing needed to be done until my renewal comes around.

Just call the issuing sheriff and inform them of change of address...so that when they mail out the renewal notice it goes to the right place. If you changed counties with the move, when renewal time comes you will apply at the new location's local sheriff.

And in the event your LTCF is revoked, you want the revocation letter to go to the correct address.

THats cuz they dont change your existing LTCF...they just change the address of record...the card itself is still good until expiration.
