I was getting my annual credit reports last night and they ask you questions pertaining to items on your report to verify they have the right person.

I got one of them no problem which was good because that was the one I needed to check in order to get a loan from my credit union. But the second one I tried to get they asked me two questions. The first one was asking where I got my home loan in November 2005 and the other was asking how much the monthly payment on it is.

I've never gotten a home loan. If I had I wouldn't be living with my parents. I answered n/a to both and it locked me out of my credit report.

Others in my family have had issues with identity theft so I'll be going to my credit union to see if my bank lady can get more info for me without having to wait for my report in the mail after I send them way too much info to be sending through the mail.
