    PA Uniform Firearms Act.

You won't find where you can carry in writing, only where you can not.

Banks, Bars, etc are all legal. They are like any other private property (owner can ask you to not carry, leave, etc).

there's much info at places like packing.org and handgunlaw.us, but basically it's just federal property (USPS, Military, etc.), court houses, and schools, otherwise PA is one of the most gun friendly states in the union.

There's a LOT of information on this site about carrying; use the search function and just browse around a bit. Pay special attention to the "Concealed and Open Carry" forum here, as that's where most of the information on this topic winds up.

    Enjoy the site!

my wife got her permit today and this is what they gave her.

DO NOT carry into any federal, state, county or municipal, or school building.

DO NOT carry on any military installation

DO NOT carrywhen drinking alcohol OR into ANY facility that sells alcohol.

Any violation may call into question your character and could cause revocation of your permit.

State, county, municipal is BS. Nothing in the statutes.
School is a gray area. There is exceptions to the school proerty including "other lawful purpose" however this has not been clarified if legal OC and CC are such a "other lawful purpose"

    Duh, because it's fed property.

    100% BS
Nowhere in the law is carrying in an establishment that sells alcohol prohibited. The only thing I can find on drinking is "An individual who is a habitual drunkard." (as a reason to revoke your permit). But nowhere does it say you can't "consume alcohol".

Yeah, but you would actually have to violate a LAW

    Your sheriff is an idiot.
