    Damn right, bish!

I remember as a young child being told I had an "honest face" very often when I found myself called upon the carpet. As a child I really had no idea what they were talking about. I just knew it was getting me outta trouble.

I guess I've been attempting to capitalize on that ever since.

When you walk into a roughneck biker bar, you ought to look like a biker, and legitimately be able to pull off the persona, or you could find yourself in a world of hurt.

Similarly, there are many rooms you can walk in to the same way, and get nowhere.

A clean cut appearance and a nice suit will afford you a level of trust, respect, and credibility, that you have not necessarily earned. Of course, like the biker bar, you also gotta be able to back it with something, for the subterfuge will not long stand on it's own.

    YMMV

Probably the cop guy who does the FL carry permit class. He doesn't like OC at all! Claimed to be SRPD, so just for him, me and BTA88 OC'd past their PD station in New Freedom one day LMAO. ( btw he is entitled to his opinions so long as he doesn't pull cop BS on anyone while he is on duty- like unlawful detainment, etc)
    LOL, I am a woman...

I live 5 min. from FA and shop there often. Never had any problems with the folks there (I don't OC so that hasn't been an issue). Yep, the prices for ammo there are a bit steep but still cheaper than mail-order given the cost of shipping. My wife and I have range membership there and we've had lots of good times training, though we prefer a more relaxed, private outdoor range setting...

I'm a member at FA and I was planning on buying a new ccw there. I called Bass Pro and Cabals and FA was $50 – $75 dollars cheaper then the other guys. Where are you all shopping that is cheaper then FA? I thought their gun prices were ok but there ammo prices stink.

X2 I stopped by there for the first time this week (looking for a glock 17) and they were about 40 bucks cheaper. Everything seemed priced high at Freedom.

I like Stonybrook too. Stubby's out on 30 west of 74 is good, and over the river into Lancaster Co in Columbia is my favorite place, Backwoods Outfitters. Well worth the drive over...
