    Default Livescan near Pittsburgh?

Are there any livescan fingerprint locations around Pittsburgh?

Last set of Utah prints were rejected due to smudging, and I have delicately smooth hands that don't print well.

If you are talking about the finger print machine where you put your finger on the glass reader, then yes there is one in the waterfront. Its in the building directly across from first commonwealth bank. I had to get my prints done there for my job. Hope this helps

There's one on the 17th floor of the federal building, but I think you have to sign a 4 year contract to use it.

Before you pay for that...make sure UT allows for out of state Live Scan...FL apparently doesnt....

    5. A NOTICE TO OUT-OF-STATE APPLICANTS
ELECTRONIC FINGERPRINT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE ONLY AT SHERIFFS' OFFICES IN THE STATE OF
FLORIDA. If you are visiting Florida from out-of-state, you can get your fingerprints scanned at a nearby sheriff's office.
However, you need to be aware that if law enforcement authorities reject your scanned fingerprints because of legibility
problems, the law requires you to have your prints scanned A SECOND TIME at the same sheriff's office where your prints
were initially taken. If you have already left Florida and returned home and are unable to return to Florida to have your
prints scanned again, you will have to submit your second set of prints on a fingerprint card using the “hard card” method.
Because the format of your second fingerprint submission (paper card) will be different from the format of your first
submission (digital scan), FDLE regulations require you to submit a $42 fingerprint processing fee with this second
    submission.

+1. I did my prints for FL on a livescan in VA, but they won't transmit to FL, they'll just print them out on a card and you send them out and wait......

The State Police barracks in Moon has one.

Thats good to know...i didnt realize they could print them also. I thought it was just a "print fax"...Do they print on a card that you supply? In my readings, i saw at least one state required the prints to be on their card only...

The card format is the same regardless. If you need to be printed on a card from another state, have them supply the card. You can then take it to a PSP station where you will be printed on the Livescan and the cards will be printed out.
