Talking Help me pick a new gun club/range

Ok everyone , here's a chance to give a shout out to your favorite shootin establishment ! I didnt want to post this in the "county specific " threads because Im not opposed to traveling a reasonable distance. So lets hear it , Im looking for a club/range to join for when we move to PA , thats either in or reasonably close to Lancaster County . List of ideal criteria would be ..........

    1) Pistol , shotgun ( clays ) , rifle to at least 300 yards.

    2) NO rapid fire restrictions

    3) NFA Friendly

    4) Public Participation day so the wife and I can get back to making side money as instructors ( Our club in Florida opened to the public on the first Sunday of each month )

    5) If they host IDPA or Tac 3 Gun shoots thats a big bonus

    6) Dusk to dawn access for members , if they have some sort of indoor shooting facility in addition to the outdoor offerings thats also another great feature , but not a deal killer if not offered .

OASN , Im definetly looking for locations for IDPA Matches , the more elaborate and sophisticated ( props , building facades ,etc ) the better .

So lets hear from everyone about their favorite/best clubs !

The only one I know of that has the majority of your list is Westshore Sportsmans.
Don't know about NFA, or the longest rifle range.

    The rest they have.

With no traffic, I'd guess, 45min-1hr.

    Don't hold me to that,though.

Google map it, but if you go west on Rt 30, then North on I-83...probably an hour give or take 10 minutes (depending on traffic).
If you look at a PA map, you'll probably find a shorter distance, but it may be secondary roads.

If you move here who's going to fix NJ? I'm a life member at Ontelaunee near New Tripoli but I hardly go there because what I like best is skeet and they don't have it. I mostly shoot my hand guns at home. They do have 50, 100, 200, and 300 yard rifle ranges. A couple of pistol ranges, archery, trap and international trap. The indoor range is for .22 only I think but I'm not sure. I think number 3 is out. I don't know about 4. They do have IDPA. All the outdoor rifle and pistol ranges are under roof at the firing line. It costs $20 to join and $20 a year after that. It's a ways from Lancaster County but if your interested let me know. I'll send you an application and sponsor you.
The older I get, the better I used to be.

I could say Mill creek sportsmen but they just issued no guest ever. which means my Mom would go along to watch me fish and shoot now the dickheads say anybody found on the grounds without a membership card will be arrested for trespassing. I guess I need a new place to shoot too!
I'd rather be judged by twelve than carried by six!

How 'bout Atglen? It's just east of Lancaster.

I don't think they have IDPA competitions but they do have (among others) a nice 500 yard range and sporting clay area.
