Default PAFOA hits Portage Range (Pics and movies) All added

Well, we had a good day at the range today. Mtbkski, ScoutJoe, ChunkyMonkey, DougX, Mjiro all showed up at the Portage Range. We came prepared with a mess load of firearms, and we shot WAAAAYYYY TO MUCH AMMO. From pistols to clay pigeons. To metal gongs at 400 yards. Yep, we had a really good time.

This is a sample of some movies I took. I'll be loading up some pics later. So, check back later for some wild pics that I took. Enjoy these for now.

Here is a link to all the pics. The pics above was just a sampling of the pics I took. Check them all out here. Great day guys. Can't wait to do it again. But your gonna have to wait till I restock my ammo supply.

You guys actually let jmiro shoot!!!
I thought he would have been used as one of the target holders for bait practice.

jmiro I picked up a Mossberg 100 ATR in .308 about a month ago, you should check them out.

Shoots well for not being broke in.
I zeroed at 200yd after a 20rd break-in. and it seems to be tightening the groups up the more I shoot it. So far its shooting 3/4" groups at 200 using South African 7.62x51 NATO. I'm sure I can get to under 1/2" with my handloads.

The KAHR CW9 got a work out today. Winning over a couple new converts. That slim little pistol really impresses when you get a chance to shoot it.

ChunkyMonkey's M1 was super accurate. I was hitting a gong at 100 yards off hand. I was impressed big time.

ScoutJoes Saiga was a major hit. And when you mixed that up with the clay pigeons. Well, I would bust em with a single shot shotgun, and ScoutJoe would bust the pieces up even smaller as he would dump multiple rounds into what was left. It was a howl.

Yep, had a great time. And Monkey and I both joined the club at the end of the day.

I think ScoutJoe can shoot the darn thing that fast. I'm really not sure if he was bumping it or not.

It looks like you guys had a blast!! I've never felt comfortable shooting without eye protection though one little ounce of bad luck amounts to a limetime of regret. I'm sure there was a mountain of brass after that much fun

BTW that dude really likes that 10 gauge ammo you sold him awhile back, leaves a good thumpin on milk jugs

Actually I can't bumpfire (at least not to my knowledge)....

Excellent time, got the guns cleaned up tonight, got the case out of the AR. Found out why my RPK cleaning rod doesn't come out (it can't) and now I'm going to go through Mtbkiski's photos and shamelessly steal them all
