This is unbelievable and reason for serious concern. As the stupidity and attempted oppression by our government escalates, some small, catalytic event, in an out of the way location, is going to trigger a firestorm.

IMHO I believe the forces are baiting the opposition. If someone starts something, that escalates, then there will be martial law. Then maybe, just maybe, congress will be obolished and the czars will take over. The worse thing would be to use force. Lessons from most of the Viet Nam protests could be an example for peaceful protest. No force. The 2010 elections are not that far away and maybe we can start change then.

I couldn't agree with you more, I think they would like nothing better than to have an incident so they can invoke martial law and "not let a crisis go to waste". The next election will determine the the future of our country. We need to clean up this mess in 2010.
