PGCA Gun Show, Sept. 12-13, Greensburg

The next PGCA Gun Show is Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th.

Saturday, 0800-1700 (5pm)
Sunday, 0800-1600 (4pm)

The location is the same as previous shows, 5256 Rt. 30, Greensburg, PA.

For those that haven't attended yet, the Event Center is directly behind Westmoreland Mall.

Is it worth going to? It would be my first gun show and its only about an hour away.

It's not as good as Valley Forge, but its the best that's around Pittsburgh. It's cramped and hot and too many people don't wear deoderent. That being said its still fun to walk around. It's around 5 bucks to get in.

There is a big Tea Party near by on Saturday, so I don't know if that will help or hurt it.

I went there in the spring. Either no AC in the building or the AC wasn't on because of the time of year. It got pretty hot inside. Still worth it though. I'm going to try to make it up there (If the wife will let me)

PGCA is the definition of "same show, different dates." Nothing I need to buy or sell bad enough to go this time.

I'm going. I was there last year this time. With the weather being cooler and arriving in the am it should be ok. Just wear shorts and a T'shirt. Quit your gripping and support the second amend. Buy some arms.....

Nice to see someone not pissing and moaning about a show, and how it's not like it "used to be".

Times change. Internet sales beat 90% of the "deals" you can find at any gun show these days, but if you're local, and don't want to support your local shops that participate in this show, by all means, order online. Just don't bitch that all the local gun shops have gone under.

I enjoy them. I just don't have any disposable income at the moment, and I have a porch to paint, or I'd go just to walk around and fondle things.

That is why I bailed on H-burg, I only do local shows now, mainly York.
