Default Any 'locals' frequent Piestracks ?

I'm officially moving into my new house this Sunday, and I'm dying to go to Piestracks, even heard about it from our waitress at Haystack's in WB last weekend, so it's gotta be great !
I live less than a mile from the store, but haven't had a chance to go yet because every weekend has been devoted to getting the house ready to be moved into (not to mention carpet and everything else has been expensive, and wouldn't leave much "disposable income" to make any purchases that I'd be sure to make !!)

Last weekend my wife and drove past and they had a bunch of tents set up outside....I looked at my wife with my best puppy dog eyes, and she gave me that somewhat stern "You know we have a lot of work to finish yet" look....I'm sure you guys know it well.

Anyway, just curious if any locals hang out there, would love to bump into some folks from the Boards one of these days.

Last week was their annual safe sale.

I am generally in Piestarks once a week. Just ask then if Norman and Beverly was in yet.

    Holy cowshit Batman !

Sweet setup you got there, and yet another store for me to visit! I love it....not even moved in yet and I'm already making a list of gun stores to visit. Just curious though, looking at your pictures, I noticed everything but the heavy artillery - do you keep that in the back room ???

Nice shop- hope to make it in later next week

Thanks for the welcome, but it's welcome "back"

I'm a Pittsburgh guy originally- about 6 years ago my old company moved me to WB, and I lived there for almost 3 years after that was Cincy, OH, then Jersey (don't know what I was thinking) then back in Easton, PA. Anyway, I still know the area pretty well. Planning on drinking lots of Lions Head again and going to Pizza Perfect. Eating at PP is the reason I have to buy 12 dollar a case beer.

And I have a feeling by looking at your shop that you'll be getting a lot of my money too, lol.

Looking forward to living back in NEPA again !

Advanced Arms is an excellent shop to buy from. Haven't been there lately, I'm afraid when he see's me he's liable to throw me down the steps. LOL

As for Piestracks, Norman is there so much the post office delivers his mail there. But still another excellent shop.

Default Not a good expierence for me

I can say for myself I did not have a good expierence at that store. Maybe it was just a one time thing.

I live very close and went to the store looking for a handgun for my wife. One of the guys working behind the counter (bald head) basically blew me off.

I had $500 in my pocket ready to spend, but another shop got my money that day.

I would not recommend that store, I am not sure what his problem was but he wasn't interested in helping me out, couldn't be bothered. They also charge you for the cost of using a credit card. Not cool, they should just mark the gun up that percentage, but passing it on to the customer that way, not cool.

Anyways, just my 2 cents, I would spend your money elsewhere. Probably others disagree.

I would highly recommend Advanced Arms. I walked in the store and they took the time to talk and explained the options to me. I need to make a trip back.

Eds sporting in Tamqua is also great, a bit of a drive but worth it.

A lot of shops charge for the use of a credit card.
