Delta Peach-Bottom Fish & Game Show
Delta Peach Bottom Fish & Game Gun Show
173 Pikes Peak Rd. Delta, PA 17314
Saturday August 29, 2009 and Sunday August 30, 2009
Kind of surprised it's not on here already, and I know it's short notice, but there is a show this weekend - Saturday and Sunday. I've never actually made it in there to look around (even though it's right down the road) but they have a couple a year, and this time I will actually get to make it. I've talked to a lot of people who say it's a good show with some good deals a lot of times. It's a smaller show compared to some if you have a long drive so don't be disappointed - just wanted to give a heads up, especially for the local guys. I believe the hours are 9am til 3 or 4pm but not 100% sure...

Re: Delta Peach-Bottom Fish & Game Show
It's usually $3 to get in. Very small, maybe 30 tables, lots of crap. Several Maryland dealers with Maryland prices. PA guys selling their junk, beater sinle shot 12 gauges, 1970s bows, and 1960s fishing rods. More like a garage sale with guns than a gun show.
I go because it's very close, and sometimes you can find a hidden gem. I snagged a couple nice k frames (pre-17 model 22, and a model 14) a few years ago for a screaming deal.9mm = 45acp set on "stun"

Re: Delta Peach-Bottom Fish & Game Show
Well, it was a quick garage sale with a few guns. Mostly crap. One good deal on a used S&W 642-2 for $289. One guy had primes for $30/k.

Re: Delta Peach-Bottom Fish & Game Show
I was there Saturday morning, and I did find a few nice things there that came home with me. I got a good M1 garand bayonet with the 10 inch blade, a freeland scope stand, and a nice green laminate stock and barrel for a ruger 10-22. Is it a small show, yes. Is there a lot of junk, yes. But sometimes I luck out out and find something that has been on my wish list for a while.

Re: Delta Peach-Bottom Fish & Game Show
Ive been keeping my eyes open for awhile for a cheap beater single-shot 12-gauge to fart around with and a decent one followed me home for 80 bucks. I saw the 642 your talking about and almost bought it because thats what i'd really like for a carry piece. I thought that was a good price but don't really want to spend that much right now so i passed. It does seem like a garage sale with guns but sometimes those are the ones with the odd stuff and good deals. They had 2 boxes of .244 Remington which is pretty rare but i passed at $45 a box since I would probably never actually shoot it. I opted for 2 boxes of newer 6mm for about $20 a box since the stores are always higher and are always out of it.
