Concealed carry Philadelphia Int. Airport
Picking up son, daughter-in-law and grandson at Philadelphia Airport tomorrow. We will not be going into secured area; just parking, the arrival gate and baggage claim. Anyone know of any restrictions for concealed carry in these areas??? Thanks for the input.

I always CC to the Air Port (just did this morning). As long as you don't try to go into the Terminals (through metal detectors) you'll be OK.

Re: Concealed carry Philadelphia Int. Airport
I wouldn't even park the car if I were you.
Three weeks ago I dropped off fiance and her son while I went to park the car. By the time I drove around and got into parking garage C she was already on the way out.
Never even got out of the car.
Took longer to pay the lousy 3 or 4 dollars for parking for 10 seconds. Every idiot kept pulling up behind the car in the toll gate which blocks the camera view of the license plate so the toll takers just stop and don't take tolls till everybody backs up. I managed to get enough room to get over to the credit card lane after sitting there for 5 minutes and figuring out what was happening.
I hate PHL, ABE and Harrisburg are much easier and sometimes cheaper flights.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Re: Concealed carry Philadelphia Int. Airport
I was OC down there just a few weeks ago, and met up with a Philly cop. He was adamant that I was breaking the law, but he did not see fit to arrest me. He was involved in a strenuous conversation with what seemed to be a friend of his, so maybe that is what kept me out of the pokey. I think it is more likely he didn't want to be bothered. It is a sure thing he did not know the law. I had a flier out and was trying to explain the relatively simple English it contains. I was not successful.
In any case, I was not arrested, I did not lose my gun or my LTCF, and the guy who was talking with the cop asked for the flier I had after the cop himself refused to take it.
