For Glock 23 which should I try to get first a .22 conversion, or a 9mm suppressor?
The title says it all. This is advance planning for an October to November purchase, assuming all goes as planned with work.

I have the glock 23 and just got my 9mm suppressor about 3 months ago. Worth the wait. You can get a barrel anytime.

Get the suppressor. Then buy a .22 pistol. win/win

I've been meaning to review my G26 AA conversion kit for a while, but haven't gotten around to it. I'm am sure you know all of the advantages, but the single complaint I have is that it's really lightweight, making the Glock a lot lighter than the real thing. In other words, it's almost like shooting 2 different guns (other than the trigger) completely. If you have a 1911, get a Kimber kit. The conversion is almost 1 to 1 in weight and overall feel...and it's a heck of a lot more accurate.
Anyway, not much to do with the decision of the 2 choices presented, but that may give you a little more to consider.

.22 conversion first. Will help you with trigger control, make you a better shot, and with all the $$$ you save on ammo you'll be able to buy the suppressor.

I am confused. Why would you get a 9mm can for a gun that shoots .40?

I'm pretty sure TC is looking to do this (from you Guns4Fun): http://forum.pafoa.org/nfa-class-3-t...tml#post278275
The LWD 9mm barrel drops right into a G23 without any mods.
