    Question moving to another county

Just a quick question. I plan on moving at the end of August/ beginning of Sept. from Blair County, where I have my permit through, to Centre county. Do I have to go through Centre County to get one from that county, or is the one I have good, until it expires? I just renewed mine for Blair country this year.

You are good to go when you move. The permit covers the entire state of PA, so need need to apply for a new permit.

Thank you for the info. Just wasn't sure because of Penn State being up that way and the college damn near controlling the whole town.

PSU only controls about 1/3 of the town. The Herlocher and Woskob families control the rest.

Interesting thread as I was wondering this myself.
Can the Sheriff of your issuing county revoke your permit should you move to another county in PA?

There is no law that I know of that would allow this.

When we moved we notified our new sheriffs dept. just to be safe.
Also kept our old DL's to have some matching address and picture to cross reference to the LTCF until everything caught up.

    None of this was required.
