Fenix Flash lights.
So I got to check out a Fenix flash light last night, it was pretty damn bright and got my interest pretty fast.
So I checked into them more, I found a Fenix E20.
It seems pretty good.
https://www.fenix-store.com/product_...roducts_id=498
two AA batteries needed.
Constant brightness: 109 Lumens
3.3-hour runtime
Seems like a pretty good deal for the price $38.00 (Cheaper after a discount code).
Anyone else ever have a flashlight from this company?
I had a Streamlight Scorpion that sucked because it used CR 123 batteries (two), at like 12$ a pop. For 1hr battery life, and it was 78Lumens which to me was soooo bright, I cant imagine 109.
This one I would think would do me well, and as a carry light. Although it doesnt come with a holster like some of their other ones.

Re: Fenix Flash lights.
I have 2 fenix lights.... not sure the model (LD 20??)but they get 185 lumens on 2 AA bateries. They are great!!!!!!! They are cheap to run and have great throw.
I would not hesitate to get another !!!!
I am a Medic and carry one on duty at all times.

I have two of their lights and have been really impressed. I will definitely buy more from them in the future.

Re: Fenix Flash lights.
I have a TK10 I carry around everyday.
It runs on two CR123's. Its a good little light and I haven't had any problems yet.
My roommate in college bought a smaller one, a P2D I think. I didn't care for the switch interface much...it was like press lightly to change modes, press harder to change brightness or something. It was small enough to use as a keychain, which he did. That was a nice feature.
I bought my light shortly afterward, replacing my mini Maglight.
The TK10 is larger and comes with a pouch. Tailcap on/off, twist bezel to change from normal to high. No strobe, no SOS signal mode.

Re: Fenix Flash lights.
I have a Fenix P2D(uses 1 cr123a battery) it is a great edc light.
Small and very bright (180 lumens max)
I love Fenix products great lights for the money.
Depending on your needs you may (or may not) want something with adjustable output to prolong battery life.
Do you really need 109 lumens all the time?

Re: Fenix Flash lights.
Yes $34 is a good deal and you'll love it.
I think the 3.3 hr rating is with rechargeable batteries,so get yourself a pack of them( I use energizers)and a charger and you'll be good to go.

Re: Fenix Flash lights.
I've had a P1D for a couple years now and love it. It's pretty much always in my pocket. Yes, it uses the CR123 batteries, but I quickly got smart about things and realised the box stores are charging entirely too much money for those batteries. Got to www.surefire.com and get them for about $1.75 each (plus shipping, for a box of 12) or www.batteryjunction.com and get them for $0.98 each (plus shipping) if you order 12. Order more and you can get them even cheaper.
I've used the Surefire batteries, the Titanium batteries from battery junction, as well as Energizers (like $9.84 for a 2 pack at Wal-Mart) and they all seem to give roughly the same runtime. Since they all seem to give me the same runtime, I'm sticking with the cheap Titanium ones.

Re: Fenix Flash lights.
Would these lights be able to be used as a attachment to the AR? Can they handle recoil at all or are they just a carry light?
If zombies start chasing us, I'm going to trip you!
