Default Concealed or Open Carry ... Should it be Store or Hand

Hello .. I am new to the CC and have been told a LOT and READ a lot of Information all the should and should nots

Ok the Biggie! Should I CC with store or hand loaded ... I know that my hand loaded are better but was told that Hand loaded could get me in more problems if i had to use it on someone. Some one could say your making Killer rounds

    Thanks John

I would hope that any round would have the potential of being a "killer round". If the capability to kill is not there I do not think the potential to stop would be either.

Some can say anything they want. Self defense is self defense. If you are justified to use the firearm in self defense, the type of round has no bearing. I don't buy the argument that handloads cause legal issues in the role of self defense. I have never heard of a case that the use of handloads have gotten someone convicted that would not have been otherwise convicted.

I dont believe that there is an issue IMHO, but I have never been asked that before. I believe that you would be alright.

From the first posters standpoint, he is right, any round has the capacity to harm or maim or kill, and if it doesnt, like certain safety rounds, I wouldnt use it to begin with.

This has been discussed many times as PA Patriot points out. Personally I would rather use a well known manufactures high quality hollow points over handloaded rounds and find it even better to use the Law Enforcement lines that are available. If you are very concerned about it you may want to use the same load your local police or state troopers use.

If you're not making killer rounds, maybe you need to relearn how to load.
