    Default some of the family

Picked up my G19 tonight on a whim. I decided I needed a carry gun and this fit the bill, and my hand, just right.

The rest of girls are my Sig p226 Blackwater Tactical and my 1948 Marlin 39a. The Marlin is a laser but I'm having a few firing pin/seer problems.

Sorry for the crappy pics. My iPhone does not like low light situations.

Nice Sig (of course)! The Marlin looks like fun. What kind of wood is the buttstock? It has a reddish hue in the photograph, which looks neat. I hope you get the firing pin/seer issues worked out.

    Nice Blackwater Tactical.
Four 20 round mags and the SRT (short reset trigger) make that a very tempting gun. Still thinking about the one at Classic Pistol.

I considered it, but with the full length barrel, extended grips and mags plus the weigh of an all metal gun with 20+1 of 9mm it is a very heavy piece.

The wood on the Marlin is all American Walnut, the color is a little off due to me trying to improve my pictures on photobucket. In reality it's a very nice dark brown with a great grain pattern to it. The second pic is the closest to the actual color.

Excuse my ignorance but what caliber is the Marlin? How do you like it?

The Marlin is a .22 and it's probably the gun I shoot the most. Not just because it's cheap, but because it hits whatever you aim it at up to about 130 yards. When I pull it out at the range all the old timers come over and ooh and ahh over it.
