You can leave this pamphlet at your table (with your generous tip) when you've eaten in a good restaurant and have NOT been hassled (or maybe especially if you HAVE been hassled )....

I've never done that. Sounds like I need to pick up a new habit.

Once again, I've updated these handouts so that the reference links are now valid.

You can download the Color or B&W PDF files from the FIRST POST...

I would be happy to entertain any comments or suggestions...

The format is tightly packed and I may not be able to accomodate in this handout any further
information that might be suggested - not because it is unworthy, but because the space is full.

This is a 2023 bump for the "Person With A Gun" brochure / handout.
See the FIRST POST of this very thread for the opportunity to download it.

I was reading about dcdalton's recent encounters at a flea market and it got me to thinking that maybe, in addition to the Pennsylvania Gun Rights Flyer from PA Patriot, which covers PA gun rights and laws in detail, that another, more conversational handout, might be helpful.

    The Point of the Handout:
I was trying to parallel conversations that are reported here when such an encounter takes place. The frontpage is intended to explain how such an encounter gets started and the body text is what seems to be (rightly so) the responses of the good and upstanding members here who OC on a regular basis. Although I also intended to explain the general attitude of anyone who carries for Personal Protection, whether openly or concealed, as I see little difference.

I imagine the PAFOA member's responses as being even toned, with no intent to be BOLD, but only respectful and informative - not that the confronting accusers necessarily take the same even tone, though. Maybe it's BOLD, only in that, these facts and points of view are not widely and openly expressed in public by those who hold them. But the facts and ideas themselves are rather typical (one might even say, mundane) for those who consider Liberty, Law & Order, and Personal Protection of great importance. But you're right, the sheeple _might_ see that as BOLD!

I hope the handout can be given to those around an such encounter (even to the instigator, if they'll take it) as a way for the unknowing to take it away to have time to re-read these facts and points of view with the possibility they will absorb the reasonableness expressed within it.
Anyone tried placing these in any public literature racks?
At the grocery store, local library, county courthouse, PA Welcome Centers, etc.?
Leaving them at your local gun shop??
Or 'accidentally' leaving one laying in the waiting room at your last visit to your: doctor, dentist, optometrist, etc.?
Leave one at a restaurant table (with your generous tip) when NOT hassled (or maybe especially if you HAVE been hassled)?

Does anyone have an up-to-date legal information flyer that might have been created from here:
