    Wow...I feel bad for the guy who is being tried here. A genuine accident on his part, and gross negligence on the part of the cop who dropped his gun on the bar, loaded. It should be the cop on trial, not the guy who didn't know any better.

    But yeah, stupid. Why put a loaded gun on a bar surrounded by people. Makes no sense.

    Yet another reason on why you should treat firearms as though they are LOADED at ALL TIMES and NEVER EVER EVER EVER point them at anything you don't want to destroy... even as a joke. It may have been an accident, but it damn sure could have been avoided with a little bit of common sense.
