Keep perspective, recognize the good in your enemies and the bad in your friends.

Why not? they make lasers for Hi-points!
Actually, I like the idea of rolling your own...I've got an 1895 Nagant that could use a set!"...a REPUBLIC, if you can keep it."

Re: Anyone ever make their own night sights?
there are night sights that come in two different colors. for example, i have meprolights that are yellow rears/green fronts. whether or not you can find them for your particular gun is a different question of course.
I am thinking green (most visible) for the rear, and the next brightest color (yellow) for the front.
in fact, many instructors ingrain the saying "front sight, press, front sight, press" in their students to help them internalize how important it is to focus on the front sight.
you want the front sight to stick out like a sore thumb...and naturally draw your eye. thus, you want the front sight to be the brightest.F*S=k

What kind of gun you trying to get sights for? Honestly i think getting sights made is a great idea. You could go the cheap way and less effective method of using Fishing Lure paint on them. Id go with getting them made. If you cant see a target in the dark then you need to fix the problem right? Solution is exactly what you got in mind.

Re: Anyone ever make their own night sights?
I have never seen a PPS with night sights not even in a magazine or on the net. You should get the sights made. i guess because the gun is so small everyone thinks theres no need. I mean thats what i think. Its a great gun though i carry a walther P99QA. best gun i can get. i had a Glock 19 and my walther beat the 19 in all aspects i could think to test it.
