    Default Scotia Range Hours Update

I was out at the range today and talked to the fellow who was working there. He said the range was closed this coming weekend (Aug 15-16) since they didn't have anyone to work. But, they did get permission to hire a new person and starting Monday Aug 17 the range would be open weekends 11am-7:30pm AND weekdays until 7:30pm (thru the end of Aug). This is good news.

Also, the road from Gray's Woods has a lot of new gravel on it, and neither way was a bad drive.

Thanks for the update! I'd actually considered applying for the job they posted there. Figure it'd be an easy way to make extra money for ammo

Yeah, they put gravel on the road with the exception of the last 100 yards before you get to the range from the grays woods side. UGH! They only fixed the road because they had youth hunters education day a month or more back, it certainly wasn't so the could make a better ride for anyone else to get back there. ok, rant off! I am still glad they fixed the road, reguardless of reason. The hours a good too! Now if we could just shoot MG's there it would be even better!

Doesn't mean that using the facilities is out yet... just not during normal hours!

Meh...us centre county shooters should just pitch in money and buy a plot of land for a shooting range. That way we can shoot whatever we want whenever we want

You'd probably just end up shooting away your paycheck
