Default Legality of two-point slings for AR15 pistols?

Someone brought up the idea that somehow having a 2-point sling on your pistol may make it "illegal" as it would be like a AOW, as in too close to a rifle with short barrel. As ridiculous that this sounds, I wanted to make sure I haven't missed any crazy ATF laws. Thoughts?

thats bullshit. what does a sling have to do with barrel length?
You can sling the rifle to your balls if you want it doesnt make it any more dangerous thus more regulated.

Having a VFG on a pistol isn't either, but it becomes AOW. The 2-point sling makes for easier handling of the pistol in a rifle-like manner. I still don't see how that would mean anything, just wanted to check to see if I'm missing anything.

Jeez didnt realize you said AR15 pistol, sorry. I wouldn't know if the sling makes it an AOW, common sense says otherwise but since when does our gov work on common sense anymore?

The sling shouldn't make a difference. A lot of people do that with AK pistols (along with 1 point slings) so they use the tension to fire them better. Never heard of any AOW issues.
