Best IWB holster for small automatic?
You experienced members must get tired of answering these questions, but I have to ask before dropping some cash: what do you think is the "best" IWB holster for a small automatic (Keltec PF9)?
I am a pretty thin guy (6'1", 157lbs.) and I chose the PF9 partly for its narrow profile. Given that, it doesn't make sense to me to pair it with a wide holster if I want the most concealable duo possible. And, yes, I'm new to carrying, so I am probably more concerned about printing, etc, than more experienced folks.
Any thoughts you have would be much appreciated. Thanks

Re: Best IWB holster for small automatic?
It's not that people get tired of answering questions, it's that they get tired to explaining that there is no such thing as 'best'.
There can be hundreds of holsters that could be suggested and you might like one or two of them.

Crossbreed Minituck. I have a Ruger LCP with the Minituck and always forget its on the hip at 4 o'clock. It's extremely comfortable. Best money I've spent. IMO its the best.

Re: Best IWB holster for small automatic?
Guy, I understand your point about best; that's why I put it in quotes. I willingly leave it up to the responder to consider their version of "best".
For me, I suppose it would be some balance of comfort, security, and concealment. I suppose I'm just trying to narrow the field of holsters down to maybe 2-4 that have high probability of filling the bill.
BTW, you may have the best user name on the site - gotta love Bradbury...

Re: Best IWB holster for small automatic?
My recommendations:
If you want something inexpensive and shipped fast, try www.highnoonholsters.com
Look at their Split Decision iwb. $34.95 and in stock. A decent holster at a reasonable price.
If you want to wait a little while to get a top of the line custom holster, check out www.hbeleatherworks.com
I have his Pro TL tuckable. Super thin and comfy. This is a premium holster and worth every penny (IMO).

Re: Best IWB holster for small automatic?
I am not very experienced in this field and I can only carry on the weekends, (work Monday thru Friday) but, I first started with a desantis with retention and it printed horribly, but no one seemed to notice. Oh sorry, I carry a service model xd-9. Then I moved to a galco concealable. Little printing but less than retention. Now, I just recieved my kholster and there is no noticeable printing. A good gun belt helps tremendously as well. So I would say something like a crossbreed or a kholster.

Re: Best IWB holster for small automatic?
Asking for the "best IWB holster" is like asking for the best flavor of ice cream. One man's poison is another's preferred. You will read of folks who have buckets of once used holsters. Figure out what you want to spend, go online and do some looking. Figure on two or three holsters before you find YOUR favorite.
