Can PA become a May issue state?
I am very thankful PA is a shall issue state,
is it possible for that to ever be changed??
I am thinking the state Senate could with enough votes, but I am hoping I am wrong.

Can it? Yes.
Will it happen any time soon? Not likely.

May Issue = You're presumed guilty and have to prove innocence.
Shall Issue = It's the state's responsibility to prove you're ineligible.

Re: Can PA become a May issue state?
It is possible, but not probable, at least at this time! What really irks me though is that I have a permit without needing PA's permission, it is called the 2nd Amendment...I should not have to apply for a piece of paper that says I can carry a firearm, when I already have that right. Permits are only a means to raise revenue and to make citizens, slaves.

Why not do a better job of kicking out the people who would vote it May Issue and not have to wonder?

Re: Can PA become a May issue state?
it might be possible in the near future cuz i am sure the Govt doesnt want every single PAer to have a LTCF, i know the felons cant have one and the violent persons,
i am good till 2014 then after that i have to wait and see if its a shall issue or an may issue state still.. i hope it stays a shall issue but its possible to change if the gun crimes keep getting worst and worst...but i dont see people with LTCF causing as much trouble as those who dont have a LTCF so i dont think PA will become a may issue state maybe in the next couple years ..IMHO..(knocking on wood) may issue will take forever for the background checks then will the shall issue , and with may issue gives the state more power to turn down licenses.

Honestly TXD, I skip most of your posts because I got tired of re-reading each one 3 or 4 times trying to decipher them. I am not sure what handicap you have and I don't mean to be disrespectful, but if you can try to help it a little ( like use Microsoft Word for grammar and spell-check before pasting the content here), your thoughts may be better expressed.
