I forgot I had pictures of this gem.

This is the dirtiest gun I've ever seen. It's a Taurus Pt111 (9mm) that someone carried in their purse...apparently, for a while. I had to clean it, and as soon as I opened it up... I found this:




I hope you can see the hair, and what I think was M&M shell bits on the barrel.

If I wasn't in a rush, I'd have loaded it up and shot it, just to see if it'd have run that dirty and dry. I felt compelled to use gloves while working on this one.

Moral of the story: If you're pistols look like this inside, you are wrong.

Right!?-The last time I saw fuzz like that it was in the refrigerator of my first apartment when I was 18.

Must have been hiding that one in the cushions of the Lazy Boy! Just in case a BG broke in and tried to steal his remote! I think the only oil on that gun was from the pepperoni!-I really hope no one here is the owner of that gun

I think you're right. It would have been a lot of fun to do the before photos, then test fire it to failure.
