Recently i handled a beautiful REmington at the fun store in .204 Ruger but i swear the gun must have weighed about 12 pounds with a big fat long bbl. Nice gun though.

I never did like the Thompsons, dont ask me why, never shot one never own one never even seen one , maybe its something i need to look into based on Tom Cat's description of thier performance.

Is the 22-250 that good? I see a lot of guns chambered in 22-250?
    Thanks, Nyman
Yes the remington is heavy mine weighs in at 13 lbs. The 22-250 good round. But I will stay with my 204. Hand load is the only way to go with the 204, you can adjust the speed for a tighter group. The 32 gr. at 4225 is a little much, slow it down a little and the gorup get's tight. the 40 gr. in my rifle at 3875 holds a realy tight group. Mine is set at 300 meters with very little drop. You would be very pleased with the 204. The 22-250 a good round takes more powder and heats up the barrell faster and more expensive to load. I can load the 204 for less and get better peformance.
