I just got a newsletter from cheaperthandirt.com saying that they had .380 ammo in stock. The catch is that they want $50 for 50 rounds, and it Sellior and Bellot no less!

I know it's a free market but damn, I will never buy anything from them again and I hope no one else does either.

The fact that their web store prices essentially doubled after it was clear that Obama one the election is just beyond words for me. Free market and supply and demand whatever their reasoning was. I will for one, never be a customer of theirs again.

It's a shame because they have some pretty balls-out stuff, but their prices are horrible on most things.

I have found cheaper than dirt to be anything BUT.

Used to get their catalog and it was fun to flip through but DAMN they are expensive!

Maybe they should change their name to "Cheaper than Platinum"

Agreed, CTD & SG started out well, but lost their way. I can't even open a SG catalog without puking from all the patronizing hype.

What's worse, SG sometimes passes counterfeit goods, 1911 barrels in particular. At least CTD describes stuff more honestly.

I sent them an email telling them what I think about what they are doing and that myself and a lot of my friends will not be doing business with them. I also said that midwayusa has earned my business with their prices and service. not sure if I should have done that....oh well.
