I gotta admin the solider had his research and argument down. The method of debate was supreme. However I wish the video would have shown the response.

I'd love to be in or be involved in a real honest educated debate on these things. Seriously. Two people who know their shit cold back and forth. Point, counter-point, attack, parry, counter.. It's a marvelous things to see.

You could counter his statement by getting into a discussion about the ideals about the founding fathers intentions, how it should be interpreted, are roads outlined in the founding fathers ideas? What is a great society? Can we balance both our ideals and our rights, with our responsibilities to each other? Does it have to be total government control or absolutely none at all? Why can't their be a middle ground?

No matter what side you fall on, just having someone who has the fucking brains to debate things with is a wonderful thing.

Which is one of the reason I keep coming back here to bug the shit out of you people..

DID YOU HEAR WHAT HE SAID. REALLY HEAR IT.

Because if you did you should really get pissed off. He couldn't have put it any simpler or clearer. Our government is totally out of control and they think they are in charge of us. IT ISN"T SUPPOSE TO BE THIS WAY. THIS ISN"T HOW OUR FOUNDING FATHERS SET IT UP.

I don't know what it is going to take to get it back under control. But I don't think it is going to be us asking nicely for them to stop it.

How far are we going to let them go? And what can we really do to stop it?
