Court restrictions not related to offense
Although I haven't even gotten a traffic ticket since 1962, it bothers me when conviction on a minor charge restricts unrelated freedoms, like convicton for possession of marijuana sitting in your back yard can get your DL revoked or being behind in support payments and you can't get a hunting license. I just don't think it's right and an abuse of governmental power.
Also I am irked when the tax on an item like cigarettes is higher than the actual price of the item purchased. Remember Chuck Schumer wanted a $5 tax on every bullet a few years back. It jst gets me mad.

So make sure your votes count when it's time to vote. Some things you aren't going to change, so choose your battles wisely.

Re: Court restrictions not related to offense
Why would your D/L get suspended for a non-driving offense?
The reasoning behind the support/hunting issue is, if you can't or won't pay your support, then you shouldn't be able to buy a hunting license.
