New Sure Sights
This looks like it might be a cool trick: http://www.suresight.com/
It incorporates the brain's natural tendency to complete an implied shape. I havent tried them yet, but I am very curious. These might be faster than even the XS Big Dots.Last edited by Average Baer; June 10th, 2007 at 05:57 PM.

Re: New Sure Sights
Only one thing bothers me.
From their website:
The yellow color coating is a special luminescent (glow-in-the-dark) polymer blend developed specifically for SureSight by a researcher at a school of polymers and advanced materials of a major university. It will visibly glow for up to a half hour on a 30 second charge from a bright light source, such as a SureFire or Streamlight flashlight, or sunlight. Because of the bright fluorescent coloring and large viewable surface area, even when the sight does not glow, it is highly visible in low light. But this feature can further help competition shooters in night shooting matches, or patrol officers during building searches.
I don't think that night sights should need to be "charged" IMHO each style of night sight is a double edged sword, tritiums decrease in brightness over time, but will glow for non stop, my guns are either in a safe or in an IWB for long periods of time. The "chargeable" sights however are cheaper, but sometimes cheaper isn't good.
If I have to draw in low light, I want my sights to glow right then and there.
Also, even in the day time I think those are a little over the top, if they work they work, but I don't like being a guinea pig. Only time will tell I suppose, I was hesitant about the big dots for a while but have finally ordered them, and will be installing them tomorrow.
Also, they are only currently available for:
All models of Glocks, XDs and Sig Sauer P22x series pistols.
Only have one item from that list..."We shoot to stop. ... Unfortunately, death can be a byproduct."
