Need examples of carrying saving a life?

While browsing some random thread I saw someone had recalled a situation their friend was in that caused them to shoot. So i decided to see if I could get more detail from google. Well I didn't find what I was looking for but I did find a blog some may be interested in to show people exactly why we carry.

Boy.. thats one long list of reasons.
I hope I never end up in one of these articles. Knowing what a round can do to a target, I feel badly for the poor bastard taking one in the chest or head.

Not that I wouldn't do it if needed but I'm still gonna feel sorry to have had to.

For those who are iTunes savvy there is a podcast I've been listening to called the Armed Citizen. He tells about 30-50 stories each episode by state starting from the current date back to the 50s. California alone took something like 20 episodes to get through.

let me tell ya hearing thousands of stories of people successfully defending themselves is amazing. He even sites the newspaper and the date so you can verify it yourself. I'm waiting for pennsylvania. He doesn't sugar coat it either. Sometimes you will hear the gun owner was terribly hurt or fired taking a gun to work.
He's a bible thumper though and has alot to say about God.

That's what bugs me about antis. Are there some reasons NOT to carry? Sure. A few. Bugged by cops, folks seeing it, having to kill someone maybe, legal issues. All of these are nothing compared to the benefits. It just seems so obvious. Please, antis. If you choose to refuse a right make it the first and be quiet about MY rights. Thanks!
