    Default Pepper-spray recommendation...

Hello, I know nothing of OC, Pepperspray, mace, etc.

I'll be at Temple main this fall and will not be carrying my baby. My baton isn't really practical, and I want more distance than a blade gives me.

Is there a particular brand of pepperspray that anyone can recommend? Anything to look for or avoid?

    Thanks.

Find an OCAT instructor and learn to use OC properly.

I like FOX Labs, Sabre Defense and there's another one I can't think of right now.

The Surefire OC delivery system seems good too.

+1 Fox Labs. Just be sure to replace it as recommended.

+ 2 on Fox Labs. I've used it a few times, works very well.

Fox works great for when i used it.

best thing to do like said is learn how to use it effectively. dont just spray and pray. theres a technique to using OC the right way, the effective way.

+1. The burn came on quicker for me than it did with Fox, though both burn like a bitch. I like the UV marking dye in it as well.

I agree with turnz on this and make sure YOU take a nice dose of it as well. You'll never ever forget it

Go for the Fox Labs Mean Green. It dyes the person you spray, so they can be identified later on if they are caught by the police. It also hurts like a bitch too.
