i like them don't care what others think of them. to me they are the "essence" of what akms were intended.
the psl was next in line, just had to wait till everything returned to somewhat sane levels.
$800 otd wasn't too bad so i jumped on it.
so far (all of 50rds) it seems like a pretty decent shooter.
both papers were 100yrds. right side was some bugly light ball. one ten shoot "group" once i got paper at that range. left side were some hand loads.
two five shoot groups, with an adjustment.
misread my notes and ended up with two grains more than i wished for in the cases(still very much with in safe limits). picked it up on the first charge and just went with it.

oem fcg sucked big time, lots of creep and many pounds of pull.
a standard g2 fixed it mostly right up, alittle dremel action sorted the rest out. while i had the angry beaver out, i checked barrel clearance on the front hand guard. did'nt have a one dollar bill handy, so i broke a twenty out, hope i didn't take too much off with that...... going to strip and polish the bolt, just because.

and a pic of the new guy with all his fellow countrymen. just need to pick a side folder up to feel all warm and fuzzy with them.

We will have to work out that 2 tone wood stain. I guess you wanted to be at the range alone ehy? We missed you at the range today, we had a BLAST out there. There was the usual shit talking that either Derek or Bender could not back up. They like to hear themselves over everyone else though, but I with my superior wits put them back in check. Told them they were lucky you weren't there to hash out some pain with me. Overall just another Sunday at JFG.

i was out twice yesterday.
once around 8 to warm up the mkI. that thing pisses me off, it's just so easy to look good with it. not much sense "practising" with it. 8/9 hits is the norm, while looking the other way and holding a conversion with somebody. and then a little later in the afternoon. it's going to get some alone time till i get a load i really like. the smacking talk gets me wound up, then i don't get done what i want anyway.

yeah the wood needs "help" to say the least. not sure what i'll do there.

I really wish that I bought a PSL, back when it was in the 650 range, and the only reason that I didn't buy the thing is because I thought that the WASR, was optic friendly.

PSL is sexy, optic friendly, and very dragunov looking.

i have two, can't stand the geometry on the wood butt stocks. dust collectors is they are around here.
probably get a grenade spigot for the m70 sometime and use it as a novelty.
