Your first gun and do you still have it?
Mine was a Colt Detective Special out of the 60's. It has been long gone now as it was traded towards a Python about 20 years ago.

Re: Your first gun and do you still have it?
My first gun was an ancient (I mean ANCIENT) .22 single shot bolt action .22 rifle. Long gone now...but my sister's family may have it somewhere.
My first purchased gun was a Dan Wesson Model 15-2V .357 Mag revolver. Sold/traded that one for a Glock 17L back in 1987. I still have the Glock.Well, pushed 60 too hard so now I am the big SIX-OH. Now I can be a real pain in the ass! And, who says growin' old isn't fun!!

Re: Your first gun and do you still have it?
My first gun was a Marlin 336C in .35 cal. I started hunting sixteen years ago and this was the gun I started with. I have since moved on to a Remington 700 for hunting but the Marlin is still being used by my first son. Eventually it will be passed on to my other two sons as each son starts purchasing their own rifles.

Re: Your first gun and do you still have it?
My very first gun was Chinese SKS that I bought for $80 back in late 94 or early 95.
Wish I kept it. But I needed a new tire for my car...Audemus jura nostra defendere

Remington 7600 pump action 30-06 that I got back in 91/92. Yes, I still have it but haven't shot it for a good number of years.

Re: Your first gun and do you still have it?
I was in my mid 20's when I bought my first firearm. I didn't know a lot about guns, so I worked with the salesman. I'm glad I listened to him.
It's a 6" blue factory-tuned Colt Python.
Do I still have it? Silly question!"You gotta be alive to get paid."

Re: Your first gun and do you still have it?
Mine was a new Marlin level action chambered in 35 Remington. Bought that around 1987 and around 1991 traded it for two month's rent on my apartment when I was in college.
My 2nd gun was a 22LR revolver which got stolen out of that same apartment.
My 3rd gun was a Remington 700 which I still have, got that the day I got out of college.Washington County Machine Guns & Tactical Range -- CMP Affiliated Club -- FFL 07 / FFL 10 / FEL 20 / SOT 02 / ITAR
