    Default $$$Ammo$$$

I just bought two boxes of .380 at Dick's for 19.99 a box. Ouch that hurt, but I'm noticing .380 ammo is very scarce so I paid the price. There was also a 5 box limit, they were no longer selling it by the case. That's how I normally would buy it but not at those prices. I think the .380 and the 9mm were about the same price. Most of the other ammo they had was hollow points, which were rare in NJ until the ammo shortage. Anybody else have Price nightmares they'd like to share please do. I hope things get back to normal soon.

    I'm assuming that's for a box of 50.
I don't have a .380, but a friend does. So I'm at a local shop about a month ago, and there's a box of WWB .380 100 count on the shelf. I said give me that, figuring it would be around $35-40. He rings it up at $48!!!. Whoa, are you serious. I took it anyway, just hoping my buddy would pay me for it. Fortunately, he did. Now I'm glad I don't have a .380.

Well now I don't feel so bad. yes it was a box of 50 each. Before all this insanity, it was like 9 bucks a box if you bought it by the case. .380 is actually more money than 9mm.

Wal Mart in my neck of the woods is $22 for 100 rounds of9mm White box, $32 for 100 rounds of .380 ACP White box, $32 for 100 of .38 Special, $16 for 550 rounds of.22LR six boxes is usually the limit here.

Our local guns and ammo store has no 9mm, a single box of .380, a few boxes of .38 special, and plenty of .22LR. 9mm and .380 in 50 round boxes for about $25 for regular FMJ rounds.

Thats insane. I'd rather save my money and hold out till some ammo at walmart appeared. It's still under 9$ a box for 50 count 9mm
