thanks, it's sort of a spin off . i never heard that song but she is named after the 80's star with the great big .... tracks of land, all you saw white on her was her face and ... i love the boondock saints but ell knows to unload the guns before playing with them at all times, she learned safe gun handling by watching youtube.

I thought I was redirected to the Fender Forum when I clicked on this thread.
Nice S&M, and bass. I am a bass player myself, and owned a few J basses in my day.

Re: Jazz Bass With extra protection!!!!
thanks! i ordered the pickguard online somewhere, it actually doesn't fit the screw holes b/c it's for a '77 jazz bass which is what the bass is modeled after so i thought it'd fit but it's held on by the pickup cover's screws. the lower half of the pickguard houses an onboard preamp which allows the bass to be played active or passive. it originally looked like this:

but i couldn't leave it stock. i also had a big fender bridge cover scotch taped to it at 1 time b/c i didn't wanna drill holes in it. marcus is my favorite bass player if you haven't heard of him definately give him a shot. i also love jaco pastorius, victor wooten, stanley clarke etc... check out SMV as well, it's a band with stanley marcus and victor together!Go head, skin it. Re: Jazz Bass With extra protection!!!!
I think I have it covered as well. The Lab or the Coon hound wouldn't hold still long enough for a pic, but I pity the idiot that dares to face them.
Guns and guitars, what a great thread!
Nice Bass, nice Smith!!My Best, Walt
