Titusville residents arrested in gun thefts

TIDIOUTE -- Numerous firearms stolen from a home outside Tidioute were recovered after a joint investigation between Titusville Police and Pennsylvania State Police in Warren.

Police arrested Chandler Clark, 18; Aaron Adams, 19; and Samuel Prenatt, 18, on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and theft by unlawful taking. The three, all from Titusville, are each being held on $100,000 bond.

A 16-year-old boy faces similar charges in the juvenile system for the burglary.

Police accused the four of breaking into a residence on Tidioute Enterprise Road and stealing at least 14 handguns. The burglary occurred at 1 p.m. Monday.

Police said more guns might also have been removed that the owner has not yet inventoried.

Many of the guns were recovered Thursday night during raids at two homes, police said. Police did not say how many of the guns were recovered.

Police said they also expect the investigation to lead to further arrests and charges related to other crimes in Warren, Crawford and Venango counties.

How about,firearms not to be carried without a license??
