Default Stock and optics options for lightweight M4gery build?

I'm going to be putting together a light weight M4 style build. It will be an LMT upper, 14.5" barrel with a perm. attached FSC556 comp. I'm trying to decide on a stock and optics. I'm running a UBR stock and and EOTech on my current rifle, but I want to go lighter, especially on the stock.

I'm thinking a CTR stock and an Aimpoint Micro on a LaRue mount for optics. Other choices?

I think the Ace stocks are pretty lightweight if that's what you're going for. If you're really serious about going lightweight there are always the Cav Arms CAV-15 recievers. The T1 however I think is your best bet for an optic.

The one thing I won't do is the plastic lower. Mainly because of the non-adjustable stock. The CTR should be light enough. It will DEFINITELY be lighter than my UBR!

My CTR feels pretty light. Don't have much to compare too, but it's light for me.

Why not just do the LaRue IronDot FastFire? According to the website it weighs in at 2oz fully mounted. Can't get much lighter than that.

Aimpoint H1 and an old fiberlite stock or ctr if you need a sling swivel.

It doesn't have the durability, or precision adjustment/ accuracy like the TI and all of the other models have.

Irons are pretty darn light. A CSAT rear and Trijicon front sight post will take care of your needs from 7 yards on out, day or night.

The CTR will be plenty lightweight for you, I bet.
