All the WM I've seen have the same prices, so if you see it cheaper in one WM...buy all you can because it's an error on the store's part.
We are in a time where we must "pay to play"

Re: Rem. UMC 223 55gr MC up $3 per 20
WWB .45 autos went up 2-3 dollars the beginning of this year. But that was a $23 item going up to $26 so. Thats a very big price increase for that .223 though.
I've read from a couple different places that .223/5.56 is acting due to demand and not raw material prices. As you may have noticed copper/brass prices are down from their highs, quite a bit down.
Low ball prices on 7.62x39 has been steady for awhile or increasing sharply, but makes me think that the places that are raising their prices alot are simply trying to make more money.

Re: Rem. UMC 223 55gr MC up $3 per 20
I paid 310$ per 1000 rounds of Lake City M855 a few weeks ago. Granted by now that price is probably 400$ if you can even find it.
On a different note, Remington's prices are partly being influenced by the fact that they are producing brass for Federal Cartridge due to their Military/LEO Demand.

A local place sells it 6.99 a box, haven't asked what their price is per 1k.
Today's learning tid bit....
In case your confused Brass is an alloy made of zinc and copper, generally. Interesting as prices have been steady for awhile .223/5.56 goes up, meaning demand has skyrocketed. Another reason to end the war, save me some money , although then they'd find some way to keep the price artificially high like the oil industry
