Goody: Getting rem 700 LTR barrel
Picking this up on my way back from Kansas to PA, the guy lives in PA too... Now I just need to find some bottom metal and a receiver with bolt. I was thinking about trying to get a Long Action Receiver for it, so if anyone wants to get ride of their Rem700 BDL 30-06 for free let me know lol..

Man, you change your mind more than I change my boxers. Seems that everyday there is a new rifle project for you. Make up your mind, so you can actually get a completed rifle How many rounds does the LTR barrel have through it? Hope you got a good deal on the barrel. If you are just looking for bottom metal...try Williams or Sunny Hill.

Re: Goody: Getting rem 700 LTR barrel
That is a great price...I really dig fluted barrels. I never owned a rifle with a fluted barrel. I just don't want to spend the $150ish to flute my barrels, but the next barrel I buy...will likely have flutes.
