Iraq pull out, how long till the bad guys reclaim?
As we know we're pulling our major forces out of the cities and leaving the Iraqi people to police themselves. We've died for them, we've killed for them. We've created a rift between ourselves and our neighbors here in America and abroad. We've given them the worlds best training, and it was more than a crash course. They've thrown their weapons to the ground, abandonded our soldiers in times of need, and times of need over there are matters of life and death. They've sold us out, they've fallen to their greedy wants and corruption has run afoul in their ranks.
Now it's time to let these people do for themselves. I can only hope they pull through but I am seriously skeptical. I have a feeling, if we do not intervene, the taliban will have retaken the city by this time next year.

They are referred to as: Iraqi insurgents
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraqi_insurgency
But I believe the biggest threat will be Iran who will now see a big opportunity for them to start infiltrating Iraq even more than they have been.

Re: Iraq pull out, how long till the bad guys reclaim?
Nope, don't see that happening. What you will probably see is the old Suni Shia wars start up again, those people have been fighting each other since the dawn of man (literally) and it isn't going to end any time soon.
Add to that the fact Iran is predominantly Shia and have always had their 'fingers in the mix' as far as Iraq goes, the 'problems' Iraq has always had with the Curds in the north (and it's not the Curds fault, they just want independence) the chance of a permanent peace is next to impossible.

Re: Iraq pull out, how long till the bad guys reclaim?
I must have missed the memo where we became Iraq's bitch? They call us whenever they want us to come in, we do nothing without their say so, we are moving out but still training them and giving them billions a year in support and aid...
And they are celebrating that America is moving out?
Fuck Iraq, fuck the Iraqis, they stand no chance in hell of surviving on their own without the might of the US Military and the US Treasury paying them off. The bad guys in Iraq don't want the US to leave... we are paying them good money on a weekly basis! (yes they sit around and do nothing and the US Tax Payer supports them like they are on welfare)
They are as corrupt now as they always have been. The true power is still in the clerics hands, not the hands of the gov't. The Iraqi guard is full of spies and murderers and will act as hit squads more often they will act as guardsThe first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.
