Default Anyone else shoot their glock like this?

I am curious, I've always shot Glocks this way...It seems like its easier for me to shoot plus to me I find MY groupings are a lot better. While other people don't do it the same way.

When holding the gun to shoot it, I put my left index finger in front of the trigger guard.

So basically left hand wraps around the right hand, right index finger just holds the front of the trigger guard.

I know some people who have actually told me not to do it as well. So I am just curious.

I'm guilty, sometimes. Seems like a natural place for the finger. I take it off when I catch myself doing it, though I can't say why.

Mine's a ninteen. Don't know how the different modes might vary.

That's my model actually. I don't think it effects anything being there.

if you're not supposed to do that then why is there grips and a nub on the trigger gaurd? With my sub compact it makes a really tight grip.

That's what I always thought, and even said about the grip.

That's how I hold my G19. Feels natural to me.

If I'm not supposed to hold it like that, I'd like to know why. Good post, by the way.

    Me personally... never.

However, as long as it's safe, grip it however you want as long as it is comfortable and effective!

Depends on your style, I do the thumbs forward grip with auto pistols and my finger doesn't feel comfortable there, it goes under the trigger guard resting on top of my strong hand middle finger. Different strokes.

I suppose it depends on the gun as well, my XDSC has a pretty small grip.
