Help with NJ vacation and laws.
Hey I am planning on going on a weekend to O.C NJ next month and I need help on how I can legally bring my firearm. I know there are many people who live in nj or work or commute through it on this site. I don't plan on carrying because I don't have a ltcf for jersey nor can I get one i'm sure, but can I at least put one in a case and keep it in my car and in my room at night. I don't think I could sleep without her by my side! If it was up to me I'd just go to Va where i'm legal.

Re: Help with NJ vacation and laws.
Get some Sominex !!
As a Non Resident of NJ DO NOT TAKE ANY FIREARM INTO NJ unless you are going directly to an authorized shooting range . If you are discovered to be carrying a firearm in NJ as a non resident , regardless of the condition , situation or what the law says . You WILL BE ARRESTED , CHARGED AND JAILED !! New Germany HATES guns and gun owners and the cops will toss you in the clink and let the judge sort it out !
Mods can we PLEASE make a Sticky of NJ Statutes Title 39 ( Firearms ) ??!!?
This issue and others like it comes up WAY to frequently , it's getting tediousSi vis pacem, para bellum

Not to mention OC is chronically "family friendly"./puke
You have to go to the mainland to get booze, and sneak it around like some sort of teenager. And you best not get caught on the beach with any...
And you're talking firearms?

I hate NJ. Why can't it just fall off into the ocean already. I did some research on here but I didn't realize it was that bad . I thought people were just exaggerating the laws.
